Our Story

It all started when I was doom-scrolling through Etsy through an endless stream of black and brown wallets, all shipped cheaply from China, all from questionable sources, all severely lacking in creativity. With ethical, custom and stylish designs we will revive the dying art of handmade leather goods.

We offer Ethical: unlike factory made goods, our products are made from leather that is a byproduct of the meat industry. It is vegetable tanned so that there are no harmful chemicals involved. We use sustainable products everywhere else that we can, whether it’s thread that’s not made from plastics, or water based glue, our products are sustainable and will last a lifetime.

We offer Custom: whatever it is that you’d like changed, we’re here to help. Our products are made from scratch, by hand, all the way. We want your product to be as individual as you. We will keep working with you until you are 100% satisfied with the end result.

We offer Stylish: We want you to forget those recycled plain black or brown wallets! Leathercraft is a traditional art that is at least 5,000 years old so with that rich history, a lot of makers adopt a “why reinvent the wheel” approach. Traditions are important, but we believe that only through bold, persistent experimentation can we arrive at a product that stands out, instead of just adding to the noise. We want designs that POP.
